Mefias Reiss

Also known as "Cowboy Dude" in previous uploads, but he didn't really have a name back then. His name isn't exactly decided yet, I'm just trying the name "Mefias Reiss" out a bit. Tried to keep a looser style in this drawing, for some reason I couldn't bother to do a bust with him like I've done with most of the others .

Quick info about Mefias: He is a high ranking officer in "the Trading Company". "The Trading Company" is the largest guild of traders in the world (though the name of that isn't exactly cut in stone either), they pretty much have monopoly on most trades. "The Trading Company" is so rich that they more or less own a few countries and those that they don't "own", they have a huge influence on. They even have a private army and pretty much all guards in most cities are from the company.

Mefias duty in the private army is to locate and capture magicians, or as they're most commonly called "the Blessed".

The reason why the company hunts and captures "the Blessed" is because they want to keep the mages from rising once again, that is what they tell the public atleast.

When the story, that is currently just up in my head, begins Mefias is hunting Aldous, though to his surprise Gabriel is there to interfere and to foil their attempts. The scars on Mefias face and the loss of his eye is mostly Gabriels doing. Gabriel and Mefias develop a sort of nemesis relationship and through-out most of the story Mefias will be right behind Gabriel and Aldous at their journey.
